We started the TOC journey in December 2015 to streamline operations, increase on-time delivery to customers and improve material flow. The biggest change we made was to decouple the plant from the market by creating a warehouse for fast-moving parts. Through the buffer management system, the team’s efforts were focused only on the critical parts. This resulted in significant improvement in timely delivery and reduced the daily expediting in production. Our team strongly believes that with TOC, we are on the right journey to improve our organization’s operational and financial performance.
